Rules of Mini Sudoku

Mini Sudoku compresses the classic Sudoku logic into a six-by-six grid. Place the numbers 1 through 6 once in every row, column, and outlined three-by-two box.

The objective

Complete the grid without repeating 1–6 in any row, column, or box.

01 · Mini Sudoku

Keep the given clues fixed.

The starting numbers are part of the puzzle and cannot be edited. Use them to eliminate candidates from their row, column, and outlined box.

02 · Mini Sudoku

Place 1 through 6 once in every row.

Each horizontal row must contain all six numbers without a duplicate. A missing number belongs in the only square where its other constraints allow it.

03 · Mini Sudoku

Place 1 through 6 once in every column.

Each vertical column follows the same rule. Cross-check row and column possibilities before committing a number.

04 · Mini Sudoku

Respect each outlined 3 × 2 box.

Every outlined region is three columns wide and two rows tall. It must also contain each number from 1 through 6 exactly once.

05 · Mini Sudoku

Use notes and resolve conflicts.

Notes record possible numbers without making a final entry. Duplicate entries turn red, but the game does not reveal which one is wrong; a full conflict-free board is validated automatically.
