This is LarkSpark’s current public policy for this site. It is written for players, not as personalized legal advice.

The service

LarkSpark is a browser game site. You can play as a guest without creating an account. An account is optional and is used to keep a player identity, recover access, and publish a public handle.

Eligibility

You must be 13 or older to create an account or to choose a public handle. Guest play does not require an account. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 13, we will close it.

Accounts and handles

You are responsible for the email and password you use. Public handles must be unique and may appear on leaderboards. Display names are what other players see at tables and in rooms. Do not impersonate LarkSpark, other players, or public figures, and do not use a handle we reserve for the service.

Fair play

Play the games as they are presented. Do not cheat, automate play, scrape rooms or leaderboards, abuse room codes, or try to disrupt other players. Online rooms have no chat. We may rate-limit, restrict, or close accounts that abuse the service.

Content and availability

Games, catalogs, and features can change. We may remove a game, a score, a handle, or access to the site when we need to operate, secure, or legally comply with the service. The site is provided as-is; we do not promise uninterrupted play or that a particular score will remain public forever.
